David Mosenson
President
The firm’s founder and president, David has a formidable credential, having been a leading life-insurance producer for many companies during a 40-year career in financial services. He works vigorously to protect clients through a comprehensive holistic approach, uncovering unique challenges, and delivering tailored solutions and strategies.
David’s professional intensity comes from a lifetime of competitive basketball, which include playing Division One at Lafayette College; and captaining the USA Gold Medal basketball team in the 1977 Maccabian Games in Israel. This culminated with a contract to play professionally in Israel the following year.
His compassionate nature, charitable endeavors, and understanding of clients’ family challenges comes from personal tragedies. Having lost his oldest child in a car accident, David and his wife Gayle helped to build the Jeffrey Mosenson Center for Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Located at the Nassau County Medical Center, the trauma center trains volunteer firemen, policemen, EMTs and paramedics.
David has a B.S. degree in Economics from Lafayette College and is a Registered Representative of HTK.
Jonathan B. Mosenson
Vice President
Jonathan entered the insurance business at the age of 18. He officially joined the J&G Associates family in 2007, quickly working his way up to vice president, while being one of the industry’s leading advisors.
He’s developed his business focus around identifying, and helping address the needs of individuals, families, and businesses owners. Jonathan holds a unique specialty in designing cutting-edge, multigenerational strategies for high-net-worth worth families, and has received many awards from leading life-insurance companies such as Principal Life and Penn Mutual. His passion and client commitment is at the core of his business philosophy and motivates him daily. He is a Registered Representative of HTK.
Prior to joining J&G Associates, Jonathan attended Towson University and Hofstra University. He was an Olympic athlete as a member of the Team USA Men’s Inline Hockey team from 2008-2012 and 2014-2017 where he was a six-time World Champion, Pan American Champion, and World Games Champion. He was also a member of the Team USA Junior Men’s Inline Hockey team from 2002-2005, where he was a three-time World Champion. With a background in professional sports, Jonathan has been able to help propel J&G Associates into the excitement of the sports-and-entertainment world.
Jonathan and his wife, Monica, recently welcomed their first son, Jake, into the world, and have already read him his first financial literacy book, thus preparing the 3rd generation to join the family business.

Through demanding professional tenures in both the USA and Australia in social services, sports organizations, and universities, Jo deepened her skills in program coordination, creative thinking, problem solving, corporate process, fundraising, and marketing.
She joined J&G Associates as a business management consultant in February of 2020, and quickly ascended to her previous title, Director of Operations and Business Management a few months later. She has since taken the reigns of the company in her current role of CEO/COO of the company. Joanna is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day operations. The firm relies on her considerable skill set to oversee practices and procedures. This includes strategic planning, database management, process creation, marketing, financial reporting, and more.
Jo graduated Miami University in Ohio with a B.S. in Athletic Training, where she competed in gymnastics all four years. She is currently advancing her education at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia where she is obtaining an MBA in Marketing. Her many passions include world travel, photography, and gourmet coffee.

Brycon Johnson
Financial Professional
Brycon began his career as a part-time employee for J&G Associates in 2017 while attending college, working with clients and handling internal administrative tasks. During that time he learned the human side of how life insurance and financial planning, or lack thereof can impact a family. He was able to gain valuable insight towards client relations and felt the need to help people. Brycon realized that he had a knack for insurance services and became a financial professionl in September of 2022. His empathetic attitude combined with his business knowledge is the perfect recipe to help families and businesses create insurance plans that provide them with the utmost protection.
Brycon is very active in the hockey community, playing D3 ice hockey and professional roller hockey. He loves to spend his free time with his family.

During that time, he gained valuable insight into the financial industry, providing client support and case design. Once completing his internship, Matt officially entered the industry as a financial professional specializing in individual and business insurance, retirement, and estate-and-tax planning. In 2020, his forward-thinking approach led him back to what he genuinely loves, working as a case designer for new business, as well as assisting in the management of existing clients.
Active in the roller hockey community, he has travelled the nation as both a player and official. He also loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker and kayaker.
Donna Stricker

Donna has worked in the insurance industry since 1987, having cut her teeth at both William Penn and North American Life Insurance. She joined J&G Associates in 1999, giving her a long, rich tenure. An invaluable team member, her duties touch client-relationship management; client services; office management; data entry; process licensing and contracting; and new business and underwriting.
When Donna’s not in the office, her hobbies include horseback riding, as her father was a trainer at Belmont Racetrack.
